SUMMARY:Rāga Yoga Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Rāga Yoga Retreat combines the musical experience of exploring
  different rāgās of Indian Classical Music and using them as doorways fo
 r experiencing the Navarasās to delve into an immersive self-exploration 
 of the mind and its patterns. The retreat brings together ideas from Hindu
 stani Music\, Bharata’s Nātya Śāstra\, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sūtrā
 s in an experiential manner. Participants will get an opportunity to explo
 re these ideas through a combination of music\, reflective arts\, interact
 ive theatre games\, and contemplative dialogues.\n\nRāga Yoga series of w
 orkshops and retreats are designed by Hariprasad Varma (Founder – Yogaś
 āla &amp\; Zensei®) in collaboration with Shruti Bode (Hindustani Musici
 an) and Aarti Sivakumar (Carnatic Musician).\n\nNote: The workshop and ret
 reat is suitable for any person across age groups. No background in music 
 is required to benefit from the experience.\n\nObjectives:\n\nRāga Yoga R
 etreat is intended to offer an inter-disciplinary experience to participan
 ts to discover more about themselves\, their relationships\, and action ch
 oices through music\, art\, and yoga.\n\nThe retreat offers a perfect ambi
 ence for a deeply reflective space to look at one self through the support
  of a collective of fellow co-travellers and seekers.\n\nRetreat Contribut

 y\, is a small beautiful space dedicated to Yoga &amp\; spiritual studies 
 and practices in a simple and clean environment adjacent to a farm of its 
 own.\n\nReaching the Retreat Venue: The venue is about 22 kms from Maje
 stic Bus Stand and is accessible through Magadi Road and Tumkur Road prefe
 rably through own vehicles. The retreat center is very close to ‘Kamadhe
 nu Kshetra’ – a highly popular Raghavendra Swamy temple in the last fe
 w years. It would take about an hour to reach the retreat venue from the h
 eart of the city. Participants have to make their own arrangements. If any
